Johan Bergenäs in Brussels to talk about the great potential and the need of ethical framwork for drones

Johan Bergenäs represented Security Link in a seminar in Brussels November 13, 2014, with the title ‘European Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems – Can Europe become a global leader’. In his pitch, Johan highlighted that drones is a technology with great potential but which needs a more robust policy and ethical framework, there is a future market need of this technology in growing economies, and the importance of partnership between public and private sectors and the society.

Security Link connected paper was awarded 2nd Best Paper at IPIN 2014

During the International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN) 2014 the paper “Indoor Positioning Using Multi-Frequenciy RSS with Foot-Mounted INS” was awarded 2nd Best Paper. It was written by Martin Nilsson (student at Linköping university), Gustav Hendeby (funded by Security Link and adjunct FOI/LiU) and Jouni Rantakokko (Connected to Security Link). Martin Nilsson wrote this paper while doing his degree project at the department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University, and was a part of a FOI/Security Link project.
